Taking calculated risks, adjusting your course, and navigating through turbulence: Flying an airplane has a lot in common with pursuing a career in consulting. A&M CRG is a team constantly climbing to new heights and I take great pride in belonging to this group of bright and talented professionals.
When I first flew an airplane, at around 15 years old, I was told by my instructor that many of the things I would learn while flying would apply to my life.
As I grew up, I quickly realized that this passion for aviation would make me grow both personally and professionally.
Flying planes has a lot in common with the business world. With checklists and a set of procedures, it teaches you that preparation and anticipation are crucial, but that you will always have to navigate through changes, managing countless parameters – without any stopping or pulling over possible. It helps to demonstrate how important trust in your copilot (and coworkers) is. Most importantly, it reminds you of the importance of having fun, while keeping control of your trajectory.
Today I’m proud to embark on this exciting journey with A&M’s Consumer and Retail Group. It definitely chimed with my previous experiences and interest in the retail and luxury industries – but it is the values that the team embodies that made me join. I found an inclusive team of bright and supportive minds, that I am delighted to be working with. I am excited about continuing to contribute to our teamwork, bringing value to our clients.
