Frequently Asked Questions

What Does CRG Look For In A Candidate?

We seek action-oriented people with an entrepreneurial edge. Our Consumer & Retail Group is assembling a team of strong problem solvers with intellectual curiosity and a wide range of passions and backgrounds.

What roles does CRG look to fill in the campus recruiting process?

We have been actively hiring both Associate and Manager roles through campus recruiting. Students pursuing their MBA are considered for Manager level roles. Students receiving their undergraduate degree and select Masters are considered for Associate level roles.

Does the CRG Team at A&M hire individuals who require sponsorship?

Yes, we do currently hire individuals who will require sponsorship to work in the United States.

What training opportunities exist as a new hire?

A&M views the learning and development of our employees as a strategic priority. We provide both formal and informal opportunities for our people to learn and grow. Our learning and development strategy aligns to our Competency Guide and a collection of key skills identified for each career level within the organization.

As a campus hire, you can expect a curriculum compromised of classroom, virtual classroom, eLearning and self-study courses.

New employees begin with a two-week training which covers an introduction to CRG and A&M, CRG ways of working, technical skills training and networking opportunities. After your foundational training is complete, over 50 courses are available to you throughout the year to continue to grow and develop your skills.

A&M continues to invest significantly in learning & development. As a result, we will continue to expand our formal offerings, to provide additional learning and development options specific to our culture and industry area. However, it is important to remember that much of your “training” comes from everyday projects and client experience.

What is the culture like on the CRG Team?

Our culture is based on a deep passion for the work we do and who we do it with, a bias towards action and a collaborative and collegial spirit.

Combine these elements, and you will find a group of people who gets things done, drives results and has fun doing it. We partner with our clients rather than acting in a silo. We are excited about the industries we serve, and that inspires us to be bold and candid. We empower all members of our team to get involved and foster an environment for them to grow their career.

Will I be expected to travel / are there opportunities to travel domestically?

It is fundamental to our jobs as consultants and our CRG value proposition to work alongside our clients and our team members. Therefore, travel is often necessary.

How does A&M celebrate diversity?

At A&M, we believe in the power of diverse teaming to solve complex problems, create value and drive change for our clients. We see our employees’ differences as strengths and are committed to fostering a culture of inclusion guided by A&M’s core values.

We are focused on building a culture of Inclusive Diversity through initiatives and programs in the following areas: recruiting and retention, tracking & reporting and Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s).

The Employee Resource Groups within A&M have targeted initiatives in networking, business development, professional development and mentoring, and serve as a forum for sharing information, ideas and experiences. Fireside chats during Pride month on the importance of allyship, a panel with two-time WNBA Champion and activist Renee Montgomery on the importance of advocacy for fellow females in the workplace and a joint panel between the Black Employee Network and the Women’s Leadership Connection on collaboration in business development are a few of several events our ERG’s are proud to host for our employees.
